We’re back home and our house is ok. I’ll post pics of our fantastic evacuation facility at Sony Playstation tomorrow – it was a heckuva slumber party with the Playstation IT crew, with 30 people, 9 dogs, 8 birds, and 4 cats.
Sadly, one home lost that we know of so far among the Playstation crew.
There is a map here of the fire(s) perimeters and known destroyed homes.
Thanks for all your good thoughts and wishes. Right now, I’m going to go enjoy sleeping in my own bed again!

I can breath again. I could not get on to your blog yesterday and was worried that your house was gone. Don’t know how those two things would be connected but they were in my mind.

I’m glad that the fires seem to be passing you by and hope that continues to be the case and that they die down soon.
Our server is hosted with a friend who bugged out of their home so the web site was down. My mail is hosted at our house so it’s been down for the last two days. We’re all safe and at home again today. Will be a busy day of cleanup for us. I was going to go do some volunteer work but everyone in San Diego is so anxious to help out that others are covering it so I can focus on getting our situation back to normal today. I still have friends who can’t get back to their homes yet – hopefully they’ll get back in today. There is a lot of mopping up to do in the worst hit areas.
Our family is relieved and grateful you are all safe. Stella, our nine-month old Golden, is particularly happy that Darwin is home again.
Thank god. You and your family were on my thoughts all day yesterday.
