Today's art postcards

“We begin to “reel” in our dreams when we toss out the baited hook of intention”
— Julia Cameron

Art is an image-using system. In order to create, we draw from our inner well. This inner well, an artistic reservoir, is ideally like a well-stocked trout pond. We’ve got big fish, little fish, fat fish, skinny fish – an abundance of artistic fish to fry. As artists, we must realize that we have to maintain this artistic ecosystem. — Julia Cameron

Chance is always powerful. Let your hook always be cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be a fish. -Ovid

The first of the art postcards I’ll be doing.

These cards are already claimed, but if you are interested in some of the future posties (or past art) let me know. I’m more than happy to share!

Sorry for the lack of posting yesterday. The phone line and DSL were both down the last two days – I almost went into blog withdrawal! Instead, I spent the day detailing the kitchen, which really needed a good cleaning. I guess my house would be a lot neater if I didn’t have the Internet to entertain me!
