A little bistro here in Portland, Maine, the Brea-Lu Cafe, features the same sign. It’s a joke (I think) but to be honest I’ve never seen anyone challenge it.
I was puzzling over the name of the place—is it Asian, Celtic, something really exotic like Basque or Navaho?—and made the mistake of asking about it.
Turns out the name is short for breakfast-lunch. Bummer. But the food is cheap and good, and I love the sign.

I was thinking it would be perfect for our humane society’s doggie cafe, which also features people snacks and drinks. ;^)
LOL, that is every mother’s nightmare, a highly caffeinated kid with an unplanned for puppy 🙂
