Comment spammers. Ew.
People who blog on pink pages.
People who blog in white type on black pages (I can’t read them).
And yes, I could switch to a feed reader, but I’m really visual and usually like the look of people’s blog designs.
Feeling like I have to post when I don’t want to write anything – this is also why I hate doing morning pages.
Wanting to write, but having nothing interesting to say.
How about you – pet peeves??

Page layouts that fail in my antique Safari 1.0 browser..
Clunky javascript implementations.
When the ratio of spam to real comments reaches 300 to 1 at my own blog.
When spammers send you spam e-mail that pretends to be from your own domain.
Having spent three hours writing something and realizing it isn’t very good.
Trying to figure out where to take the blog .. what its niche is & who might read it.
Realizing that 20 percent of the pieces are really about the same thing.
Editing out really clever stuff that would kill the piece.
Having more interesting ideas to write about in one day than I have the time to do a halfway bad job at writing.
Finding a voice that works.
I have two pet peeves in blogs
too much clutter of flashy things… anything that flashes just makes the blog unreadable
and skinny fonts tight fonts which blur together
I have the same reading problem with white on black. Like Casey I also hate “too much clutter and flashy things” . That will make me click out as fast as I can.
yes to dark pages with white type.
blogs where i am identified as “other”
blogs that allow no comments. there’s a word for this, but…

I just turn off the page style and I can read it just fine. ;^)
