Meet the New year, same as the old year.
Let’s hope our individual lives are better this year than America’s collective life will be. May you all enjoy a peaceful, prosperous year. And work to make America’s coming years more peaceful and prosperous as well. This one, I’m afraid, will not be one of those. Two more years of Dubya won’t be good for our poor country, or the world.

Happy New Year, Donna. Would have been her sooner but yesterday was Bowl Game Day and I spent a lot of my time in front of the TV. I may be a little late but it does not mean my New Year Greetings have less feeling behind them on my part. May 2007 be all you wish it to be.
