Jonathan Coulton » I Crush Everything

Great giant squid song! Via squid

Jonathan Coulton » I Crush Everything

I lie below, you float above
In the pretty white ships that I’ve been dreaming of
And I’d like to swim beside you
Getting dizzy in your wake
Getting close enough to touch you
Getting brave enough to take you into my arms
And bring you down to be with me

But I can’t do that thing anymore
I can’t be the thing I was before
Maybe I am better off alone
Because I crush everything
And I crush everything
And I crush everything

  1. Hi Donna.
Lucy D here from TGB. Your comment there today was a blessed counterpoint to my rant about passive elders. You are so right—many elders (including me, I hope) contribute in ways younger folks couldn’t or don’t have time to do.
If I hadn’t already posted the same comment twice on Ronni’s site today (my face is red.) I’d put this reply there. But if pushing the button once is good—twice must be better. Right?
I enjoyed perusing your site. You’re quite the woman—and I mean that in the most positive way. The squid thing was intriguing. Brought up lots of memories and reactions. I’ll be going to Jonathan’s site after I leave you.
    All the best, Donna!
